PRETTY DEADLY is a mythic western, a tale of retribution and redemption, that begins at the gallows and ends in Death’s domain.  It is a story told by a dead rabbit to a butterfly, that you are invited to quietly overhear.

Kelly Sue DeConnick and Emma Rios KELLY SUE DECONNICK (Avengers Assemble, Captain Marvel) & EMMA RÍOS (Dr. Strange, Osborn) reunite to bring you an all-new ongoing series that marries the magical realism of Sandman with the western brutality of Preacher. Death’s daughter rides the wind on a horse made of smoke and her face bears the skull marks of her father. Her tale of retribution is as beautifully lush as it is unflinchingly savage.

  1. Sarah

Given that my name is Sarah and I first smelled this within the first two weeks of giving birth to my second child, I was sold on it pretty much right away even though it isn’t necessarily something I would normally choose. And since getting it, I’ve been wearing it every day. It feels right to me, and very mama-bear-ish.

It’s very soft and wears close to the skin, perfect for wearing a little bit of oil without feeling like I’ll overwhelm the baby or confuse him or anything. It’s also very comforting – warm and gentle. I smell the tonka and myrrh the most, and then the leather a bit more as it dries – though the scent is well blended and most notes don’t stand out so much as create a smooth cozy backdrop to the notes that I do pick out. My only issue is that it disappears after a bit, but right now I like that it wears lightly and I don’t mind reapplying!
