Bordello Perfume Oil

$4.50$19.50

A decadent, deep perfume, lusty and luxuriant. The scent evokes images of velvet-lined Old West cathouses, tightly laced corsets, rustling petticoats and coquettish snarls of pleasure. Bawdy plum with amaretto, burgundy wine and black currant.

This one is complicated and gorgeous. Its like spiced mulberry marzipan!
Definitely getting a bottle after my imp is gone.

I got this as an imp with another order I put in and I just love it. In the veil it smelled too sugary and candy-like for my taste. But, as soon as I put it on, the scent totally changed! Still sweet and like berry flavored liquor… but now I’m catching a really strong leather and dust undertone. Honestly, it smells like when I’d go to the National Western Stock Show as a kid–cowboys/girls on leather saddles, cotton candy, and trail dust! A wonderful western scent.

BPAL’s plum is amazing! A juicy, light sugar plum scent with amaretto to adult her up. This one really is lovely and has great longevity. This is a great summer night out scent!

I got this as bonus imp, and I love it! It’s sort of a warm, sultry, berries and cream scent.

I ordered this in a bunch of imps and it was one of my last choices to fill my order but I’m so very glad I took a chance on it. It’s very light and sweet with a fruity tone to it, but just enough of a subtle bite to keep it from being overwhelming. Definitely one for my bigger bottle short list.

So sweet and fruity, but unusual, like a plum flavored bubblegum.

It smelled good in the vial. It smelled good while it was wet. However, when it dried it became too powdery. Maybe its my chemistry. My husband said it smelled like bathroom air freshener.
I was really hoping I would like it, but its just not for me.

Mmmm…berries. And amaretto. Seems like there’s the slightest hint of something like Christmas. Spiced mulberry, maybe? Reminds me slightly of a hair care product that I can’t think of, or like a fruity candle/wax melt. Or warm fruit punch.

I think there might be vanilla in this.

I received this scent as an imp, and at first I was a little skeptical as how much I would like it. I usually go for darker, more floral based scents, as opposed to the sweeter fruit ones. I was VERY happy and surprised with just how much I liked this. The amaretto is a delicate, but a very nice touch, and the sweet plum is sweet without being cloying. I love it.

I’m in love .. On me I get a sweet warm snuggly vanilla plum fruit…I want to eat my arm . this is going on my top five list with drink me..

I received this today and in my rush to smell it, I spilled a single drop on the back of my hand. I can’t stop smelling it.

I purchased an imp of this to try based on the description above. It doesn’t smell anything like its description once it hits my skin. That’s absolutely okay with me. It’s extravagantly simple. I get no red fruits. Wet, there is a very slight hint of almond. When it dries, it smells like sugar and vanilla, but with something narcotic and addictive.

BPAL compares it to an Old West cathouse… Wrong. At least not as it smells on my skin… It is sweet, sugared innocence with an undercurrent that can only be described as lust. I want to bathe in it.

So aptly named and described, this fugue of dark-colored fruit and wine rounded out with golden amaretto is my Vampire Ball oil and I reach for it whenever I want to recreate that lush, decadent, immortal feeling associated with goth dance nights, intoxication, beautiful friends gathering in Victorian finery, being in New Orleans, and having no compelling reason to think about tomorrow.

It’s my #2 most favorite GC scent, right after Voodoo.

On me it is almost exactly as described, a slightly boozy pleasant plum that is almost candied. It reminds me of this candy my parents would put in my easter basket when I was a child – it had a jelly bean coating, but inside was white fluffy stuff. I can’t remember what they were called, but the scent reminds me of it.

Wet: Out of the bottle, fruit and alcohol, a boozy scent but in a good way. The almond of the amaretto only comes out very faintly. Fresh on my skin, I catch a little bit more of the amaretto, it morphs into something beautifully sweet.

Dry: Sweet, fruity, a little powdery but not unpleasantly so. The alcohol note is completely gone. It smells delicious and luxuriously decadent, but not like a “Bordello” but more like a exquisite feast of fruit-based gourmet desserts. I like fruit and sweet scents, so I really like this one and would wear it regularly.

In Bottle – It smells exactly like Black Cherry Kool-Aid, yummy! It’s always a good thing when something reminds you of fun moments from your childhood.

Dry – I adore this scent, it turns from a childhood drink into something more mature.

Verdict – Keeper. It smells great new but gets even better with age. This scent gets me compliments and is always the one I show people when they have never heard of bpal.

This scent is sweet, juicy and undeniably “red” in it’s fullness. It has just enough of a drunken feel without being over the top and out of control. Always puts a smile on my face.

Luscious, juicy plum. Just sweet enough, not cloying. There’s a hint of amaretto but it smells rich and almond-y, not boozy.
