Queen of Sheba Perfume Oil

A woman of exquisite, unearthly beauty, profound intelligence, wit, and exceeding wealth, the Queen of Sheba – called Bilquis by the Muslims and Makeda by the ancient Abyssinians – traveled by caravan to Solomon's realm seeking proof of the king's reputed wisdom. Bearing gifts of exotic spices, a veritable mountain of gold, hearty camels and precious stones, she presented herself to the king and, bearing her heart to him, asked him a series of challenging questions, and was ultimately convinced of the truth of his wisdom, knowledge and judiciousness. In the end, the great king and queen conquered each other's hearts and fell breathlessly in love: the perfect marriage of equals.

Her scent is a bounty of golden honeyed almonds and a whisper of African and Middle Eastern spices.

$17.50 per 5ml bottle.
Presented in an amber apothecary vial.

The combination of honey, almonds, and spices, is to die for. This scent is straight up sexy. It’s blended so well. I love it!

This inspired me to make almond cookies right after I tried it. It was more 4 1/2 stars for me, but I really love how exotic I feel and will likely get a full one. Plus it lasts in the dry desert clime I live in.

I got this as a frimp at an event, and I can only assume mine has aged nicely, because it doesn’t hit me in the face with almond at all!

In the imp, I just picked up a lovely sweet spice. Wet on skin, it does have that toasty scent, but that dries down fairly quickly into a soft spicy/clove. It’s got a borderline powdery smell, which I normally cannot stand, but this one works nicely on me.

Not a ton of throw, and ideally I’d like it to last longer.

I guess if the almond scent is overpowering for you, just try it again when it ages? I’m happy with it.

Unfortunately for me, this scent went on evil almond cookie and stayed that way in a not so nice way. However, I gave this to a friend whose chemistry turned it into a lovely spiced almond.

An almond scent that I really love. It doesn’t turn bitter and it’s not too “foody.” I LOVE whatever it’s combined with! The honey, yes of course. But what are those spices? Something sharp. I wonder if it’s cumin? Also, I smell some florals – roses and jasmine, maybe? Yum.
