Mouse Circus Perfume Oil $34.00

Mouse Circus Perfume Oil

In the flat above Coraline’s, under the roof, was a crazy old man with a big mustache. He told Coraline that he was training a mouse circus. He wouldn’t let anyone see it.

“One day, little Caroline, when they are all ready, everyone in the whole world will see the wonders of my mouse circus. You ask me why you cannot see it now. Is that what you asked me?”

“No,” said Coraline quietly, “I asked you not to call me Caroline. It’s Coraline.”

“The reason you cannot see the mouse circus,” said the man upstairs, “is that the mice are not yet ready and rehearsed. Also, they refuse to play the songs I have written for them. All the songs I have written for the mice to play go oompah oompah. But the white mice will only play toodle oodle, like that. I am thinking of trying them on different types of cheese.”

A toodle oodle of pink cotton candy noses, vanilla spun sugar fur, scattered kernels of popcorn, and a touch of polished golden wood.

Ordered this in my first BPAL order and I absolutely love it! I can’t stop smelling myself randomly and when I came home mid-day for lunch I put more on because it just smells so completely yummy. Right off the popcorn is very prevalent, but after just a little while it settles to a buttery sweet deliciousness. I will definitely be ordering more of this, so glad I got the full size bottle!

This is such a fun fragrance! I’m on my 2nd bottle, and I adore it. It’s a perfect fall scent, and to me, the popcorn is the strongest note, and lasts until the very end! It’s reminiscent of “Pink Sugar” by Aqualina, if Pink Sugar had a popcorn note added, which it doesn’t. The cotton candy sweetness is always there in the background too, just behind the popcorn. I’m trying this scent layered with Eden Perfume’s vegan version of Miss Dior Cherie, (they replicate the original version with a popcorn note!) for added complexity. It can be too warm and even cloying in the humid summer, and may turn a little rancid or not so fresh on the skin. It’s definitely one to wear on those crisp Autumn days or nights. It’s not overwhelming, not headache inducing, it’s gentle, soft and creamy, just right. 🙂

My favorite so far from BPAL. Wet on the skin its quite overbearing with a kettle corn smell (but still rather pleasant). And as it dries more and more, I smell a sweet cotton candy present itself, as it dances with the kettle corn at the circus of lovely scents.

Such a fun fragrance. Salty, toasted, vanilla coated popcorn with hints of pink cotton candy.

This is my first BPAL scent, and I love it. In the bottle, it’s like the others have said–warm kettlecorn with something sweet underneath. On my skin, it’s just straight kettlecorn, all through dry down and until it’s gone, a paltry 1-2 hours later. The throw is medium, but the scent fades so quickly that I haven’t had too much opportunity to see how strong it is. Either way, I love this scent. I would probably bathe in it, if I had enough to fill a bathtub.

Definitely a great fragrance. It smells more of popcorn rather than cotton candy though. Is it okay to drink?

Yum, Yum,Yum! This is my first BPAL scent and I am officially obsessed. When applied on me this scent smelled of warm kettle corn. The middle note smelled more of cotton candy than once that faded it lingered into a woodsy smell (they called it polished wood and that’s quite accurate) while still keeping the popcorn smell. If you like foody smells you should definitely try this one. One side note: I happened to wear this on a night where I had quite a few drinks and while I smelled terrific that night, in the morning the scent had warped and became really gross. That only happened once. So, yeah if you’re gonna have a wild night maybe reconsider wearing it 😉

I adore this scent. To date, this is the most “visual” perfume I’ve purchased from BPAL. The first note is a whiff of sweet popcorn, with a slight undertone like peanuts. After a few moments on the skin, it turns very sweet like cotton candy, while still keeping some of the spilled popcorn activity. I can absolutely envision the teeny tiny mouse circus in a little “big top”, with people enjoying their snacks and treats. It stays strong for several hours with just a tiny drop. Popcorn and peanuts may not sound like a good perfume, but this one is really perfect.
