Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin.

Definitely not “dry” smelling. Incense-y, sweet, very sweet. Something like rock candy. So easy to smell. Sharp in the bottle, smooth and penetrating when on the skin. Very strong. Lovely, correct. But not the “floral” type of lovely. Something beyond that. And mysterious for sure. My favorite BPAL scent so far.

Dry, spicy, warm. Definitely sensual and pleasant, but nothing that screams “Must have!” to me.
Where I’d wear this: Late summer afternoon date

This is a lovely scent that stays very close to the skin. It is attractive and warm, but unfortunately my skin absorbs it. The notes in this blend don’t seem to have enough to give it the oomph it needs to turn it to spectacular. However, it is pleasant. I will keep the imp to see if it ages over time.

The fiery, volatile scent of cinnamon, thickened by myrrh, honeysuckle, and copal.
Evocative of the sea’s unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk.
Arrr! Avast ye, matey! This be the scent of pirate rum!
The Dark Side of Fire: cinnamon, bitter almond, and neroli. Heavily spiced, torrid, and possibly conflagrant.
