Upon initial application, I get vanilla nutmeg – nice! Then the licorice root immediately muscles it’s way to the front. I love licorice, so this is fine with me. By the time of the drydown, I can really only smell licorice. It’s a sweet but sexy licorice, tempered by the vanilla and honey, and I can’t really detect the coconut milk as a standalone note. This perfume is surprising to me – I didn’t expect it to be such a licorice dominant scent. But I like it even more than Black Licorice Smut!
