`Look on the branch above your head,’ said the Gnat, `and there you’ll find a Snap-Dragon-fly. Its body is made of plum-pudding, its wings of holly-leaves, and its head is a raisin burning in brandy.’

`And what does it live on?’

`Frumenty and mince pie,’ the Gnat replied; `and it makes its nest in a Christmas box.’

Plum pudding, holly, and brandy-soaked raisin with frumenty, mince pie, and a hint of suet.

I absolutely love this scent. I actually got it as the free sample with my order, but it is my favorite one. On me is smells like the best combination of sweet and savory (with a hint of spice/smoke). As if they took the best smells of a banquet and turned it into a perfume. It isn’t an obvious scent (where you know exactly what it is), but one that smells delicious and you want to lean in to tell what it is. “Mmmm” and “Intriguing” are the two words that come to mind.

Wet: Nutty, fruity with a hint of wine. My guy said it smells like spiced caramel. A floral note comes out when applied to my skin, maybe the holly?

Dry: The wine note emerges more fully, but it is a very, very fruity wine note, a little bit like the way wine scents for soaps do. There’s still a nice nutty quality to it though.

Overall, I really like the nutty aspect of this scent on me, but I don’t like the wine note very much.
