Pallid Bat Perfume Oil $26.00

Pallid Bat Perfume Oil

$26.00

I want my rooftop filled with Pallid Bats. Not only are they cute as hell, but their favored meal is the Arizona bark scorpion, whose sting is the most venomous to be found in North America.

Bats > Scorpions
(Sorry, Scorpios!)

Tea leaf, bourbon, a sting of white ginger, and Italian bergamot swirled in amber incense smoke.

The baby bat
Screamed out in fright,
‘Turn on the dark,
I’m afraid of the light.

– Shel Silverstein

This autumn, we are introducing the next Genius Loci series: Bats of Los Angeles. Illustrated by Drew Rausch, scented by Elizabeth Barrial, and inspired by our local furry flighted fuzzballs.

There’s bats over in Black Phoenix Trading Post’s belfry, too!

Tea leaf, bergamot, and ginger! Out of the bottle, and into your skin, it’s a fresh, uplifting scent. If you give a good long sniff after 30 minutes or so, you get hints of the amber. Not really getting any bourbon, and this is my second test.

Super, heck yes. Fresh and lively. Could absolutely be unisex. Not too sweet at all. I’ll be making lotion, and using this as the fragrance for it.
