There seemed to be no use in waiting by the little door, so she went back to the table, half hoping she might find another key on it, or at any rate a book of rules for shutting people up like telescopes: this time she found a little bottle on it, (‘which certainly was not here before,’ said Alice,) and round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words ‘DRINK ME’ beautifully printed on it in large letters.

It was all very well to say ‘Drink me,’ but the wise little Alice was not going to do that in a hurry. ‘No, I’ll look first,’ she said, ‘and see whether it’s marked “poison” or not’; for she had read several nice little histories about children who had got burnt, and eaten up by wild beasts and other unpleasant things, all because they would not remember the simple rules their friends had taught them: such as, that a red-hot poker will burn you if you hold it too long; and that if you cut your finger very deeply with a knife, it usually bleeds; and she had never forgotten that, if you drink much from a bottle marked ‘poison,’ it is almost certain to disagree with you, sooner or later.

However, this bottle was not marked ‘poison,’ so Alice ventured to taste it, and finding it very nice, (it had, in fact, a sort of mixed flavour of cherry-tart, custard, pine-apple, roast turkey, toffee, and hot buttered toast,) she very soon finished it off.

BPAL’s Drink Me is not for drinking. Please use common sense, and remember: perfume oils are for external use only.

Sadly, this doesn’t really smell like turkey. That’s fine, though, because Drink Me is really very nice. It is foody without being overly sweet, so it is a nicely balanced gourmand that isn’t just dripping with over-the-top vanilla. The butter does come through a lot on me, which I think manages to tone the sweetness down to a level that isn’t cloying or overpowering. For some reason, this reminds me a bit of Le Petit Mort, but with more oomph and complexity. I got this in a frimp in an order a long time ago, and as soon as I smelled it I knew it would be a full bottle purchase because it is so danged unique. I have dozens of perfumes, but nothing at all like this.

Cookies, vanilla, butter, maybe spice and maraschino cherries. Yum yum!

I love foodie scents and this is a definite winner, on me it smells like a butterscotch soda (butterscotch syrup, vanilla ice cream and soda water – sounds nasty, tastes awesome) from my favorite drugstore fountain that’s now sadly out of business. That coupled with the fact that Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite stories of all time made wearing it a bittersweet but very enjoyable nostalgic experience.

I love Eat Me, but I like Drink Me a bit more. It smells like rich vanilla custard and warm pineapple upside down cake, complete with the caramelized edges and little dots of cherry between the pineapple rings. It’s a creamy, sweet, very rich gourmand.

At first it is all cherries. But then – it morphs into a scent extremely reminiscent of the taste of a Jelly Belly buttered popcorn jelly bean. It stays that way for a while before some exotic scents start coming through. Extremely delicious fragrance.

This was definitely a chemistry thing, it does smell different on each person. It smells like butter and cherries to me when I first apply it, then slowly morphs to a sweet spicy baked scent. I find myself craving it.

I recently received a frimp of this. The other two I had ordered were great, but Drink Me turned out to be my favorite! It had smelled very sweet when I first opened it, and the scent became even lovelier when I dabbed it on. It smells like butterscotch and toffee with a hint of tart.

I’ll definitely be ordering the full sized version!

I bought and imp of this and was really excited. But, I think my issue here is just skin chemistry. It smelt like smoked cherries on me and on my mother in law is was this yummy complex buttery smell that almost reminded me of Christmas baking. Damn her!

This has been my very first purchase from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. As an Alice in Wonderland fan and a big “foodie scent” lover, I am thrilled with my choice.

In the bottle all I smelled was butterscotch and vanilla. Like a very rich, thick cream soda.

On me, I’m not getting the cherry at all. (Which is fine with me.) But I am getting a tiny bit of pineapple with the butterscotch and vanilla now.

It’s beautiful. It’s just a lovely, cozy, impossibly sweet scent. I ordered an imp to check it out and I might need the bigger bottle now.

If you are a foodie scent person and love vanilla, this is a great choice.

Thick, smoky with a noticeably intense base of caramel and baked goods. It’s definitely warm and sweeter on me; it smells like sweet hookah smoke in the sense that it’s cloudy but has a sweeter after-scent. Love, love this!

Very butterscotch-y – thick, mellow, and sweet. It has tremendous staying power as well, and a little goes a long way – put on too much and the sweetness gets cloying and overpowering. I wear it layered with Chimera and the result is very gingerbread/cinnamon bun smelling.

Opening the bottle butterscotch immediately hit me. So warm and sweet, I had to get it on my wrists. Which just happened to be the best idea I ever had.

It smells like butterscotch, honey toast, coffee cake, and anything else that is buttery sweet you can think of. All mixed together in this amazing blend.

This is my everyday perfume. I love it to death. Everyone should try this one.

Out of the vial, very sweet and foody. Notes of cherry and maybe something butterscotch-like, I also think there is pineapple. It’s a very interesting mix of sweet smells and a little hard to pin down. On me it’s about the same though the pineapple comes out alot more and i also do get that buttery note too. Very interesting and if you love sweet foody smells I think you will like this alot.
