    There’s something strangely enchanting about this one! It’s soft and sweet. I can definitely detect the vanilla and the musk, but it’s offset by the remaining ingredients, so it’s more unusual than it would be otherwise. I’d say this would layer fantastically with Neutral. Very pleased with this scent.

    Lyonesse was the sleeper-hit out of some gifts a friend sent me. It’s mostly vanilla and sandalwood, which is lovely on its own, but the florals add a little something to the background and give this scent a bit more depth. It’s overall quite lovely, and one of my favorite scents as far as both vanilla and sandalwood scents go.

    This is warm, sophisticated and feminine. Everything tends to blend down into a warm floral-amber-musk mellowed by vanilla. It takes me back to my beach days in Florida. Heady flowers in bloom mixed with sun-warmed beach sand and ocean spray!

    Foamy, delicious ambergris mixed with creamy lily and a brightness that is undeniably floral, but is fresh, invigorating, and hard to place, exactly. It is definitely an accord. Lovely.

    Drying out, the amber and vanilla rise and melt beautifully with the musk. It is a similar combination to Mouse’s Long Sad Tale, or Morocco, but I love Lyonesse most of all…It works so well with my skin. I have been waiting for a scent that I could put on fresh out of the shower that retains that clean feeling while being sweet and resinous at the same time. Lyonesse is that scent…the perfect scent for me. Clean, soft, sophisticated, and exotic. Like being on a sea sprayed cliffside, with the wind whiping through my loose hair…

    Lyonesse turns too powdery on me, but I like its clean vanilla scent on other people.

    A beautiful warm scent the vanilla really stood out to me and the florals are delightfully feminine not green stemmy florals. I would definitely buy a full size of this.
