Received this as a frimp, will definitely buy a bottle. In the bottle it’s a little too sweet, but on me I can’t stop sniffing it. A perfect mix of dirty smoke and spice, with a cinnamon/vanilla note coming to the fore as it sits. Love this!

This is a great male scent. It’s all smoke and spice in the bottle. On my skin it became an even mix of campfire smoke and men’s cologne. As time went by the smoke slowly faded until the cologne was at the forefront. I agree with another reviewer that I would react very favorably to a man who smelled like this. But it was much too masculine for me to wear. So it’ll be a Christmas gift for someone.

Exactly what I was looking for.

It’s a very warm scent, all smoke and spice, perfect for the cooling weather of fall, and it mellows into a slightly sweet smolder as it lingers on the skin.

It’s both comforting and exhilarating, all the warmth and wildness of a bonfire.

I love this scent. It’s like a spice camp fire wet. It seems to get sweeter as it dries, almost like cinnamon. It’s different then most scents and it stands out in the right way.

This is definitely more like the smell of a campfire than any kind of industrial plant. In the vial, it smells almost like maple syrup – very, very sweet and woody. Once on me, the maple notes remained but softened into the wood. Sweet and warm, but not cloying. There seems to be a slight vanilla aroma. I pick up the smokiness in the back of my palate, tasting the coal more than I smell it.

I think it could be nice on either men or women, but I think I would go gah-gah over a dude who smelled like this.

I get the *Amazing waft of gorgeous wood….(amber?)..and the char of it ..the umber of it…(smokey copal whispers?)…glowing embers still glinting and the good, rich smoke that comes from a campfire (like warm incense coal, smouldering lightly)….a hit of pine around it – like sequoia pine trees behind you in the dark…. I definitely throw more gorgeous almost unctuous woods (a weird word to use, I know), than smoke. This is what your best dream of a hunky lumberjack would smell like. I get nothing Industrial about this scent – unless maybe he’s a CEO lumberjack. A steam punk lumberjack?
And magically, in the dry down and as it wears, the wood goes away and I’m left with a lovely, lingering, copal-ish smoke and embers. I adore this scent!
