Really fresh and light and cool wet, like a “rain” scented shampoo I encountered in a hotel once, settles a little sweet and a lot spicy (cinnamon?) when it’s dry.

Update from earlier review:
The dry down or base notes remind me of a mellow Shalimar flanker. OOH I’m love!

Underrated beauty! This juice is very strong so dose correctly. Longevity is wonderful!! Stays on the skin for at least seven hours. Sillage is arms length. As for the notes, here’s what I was able to pick out. Top/Heart notes are incense, maybe rose, carnation, herbs. There is a freshness to the scent but a spice I can’t quite make out. Not a dry scent, has a bit of warmth but it does remind me of a more “huggable” toned down cinnabar. If you love orientals this one is wonderful!

I got this one as a frimp recently and thought I’d hazard a guess at the notes. There’s definitely cinnamon and possibly cloves and almond. I also get a bit of baby powderiness during the dry down which makes me think frankincense. Possibly a drop of rose? It actually reminds me of a lighter, sweeter Faustus.
I have to be careful of cinnamon cause sometimes it burns and also I amp it. This hasn’t given me any trouble though and stays close to the skin without turning into WOAHA REDHOTS! like Inferno did. It’s nice.
Don’t know how effective it is yet, but I do have a “special” spot in my heart for Faustus, so we shall see.
