‘And you said you’d pay me for being your guide. And it’s what I want, as my payment. Warmth. Can I have some?’ Anything she wanted. Anything. The honeysuckle and the lily of the valley wrapped around him, and his eyes saw nothing but her pale skin and her dark plum-bloom lips and her jet black hair.

Deadly elegance: pale orchid, vanilla amber, black currant, white peach, champaca, coconut, Arabian myrrh, Burmese vetiver, and oude.

Reviews

  1. Celebrith

One of my forever go-to perfumes. Sweet but not too heavy, a little exotic and enchanting. At first the amber and coconut are strong, but then it settles down and becomes a little grassy on me. Elegant and not too “loud”, perfect for daily wear. Doesn’t seem to last too long though, or maybe it just blends with my skin.

  2. Jenjin

Well, I’m so in love with Lamia it’s ridiculous. She’s a very wearable goth tropical that takes me to the islands on a black, coconut beach. I’ve had my bottle for some time now and I reach for it often. She’s the perfect combination of tropical and musks. I’m booting this one into my top ten for now. Pure dark bloody hearted vampire passion with a hula skirt spin.

  3. mknemecek

Mixed with my skin chemistry, the scent emits a seductive, rich, orchid filled scent that last for hours on end. It only takes a little on the neck and wrists, but the aroma surrounds the entire body. This will be my new everyday scent.

  4. Anna

On me Lamia smells fruity – a little tropical even – and it just radiates sexiness from the vanilla, amber and oude. A perfect year ’round fragrance.

  5. artimisia

Unfortunately, there’s a skin chemistry thing going on here for me. In the bottle Lamia smells amazing. It’s a perfect blend of the orchid, the vanilla, some spicy scents and sweet fruitiness. But when I put it on my skin almost all of that goes away and I’m left with an overly sweet fruit scent. I smell like Concord grapes with sugar spilled over them. It’s not unpleasant per se, but not what I was looking for, either. And I’m certain Lamia would smell better on other people because it’s fantastic in the bottle. On different skin the other scents probably come out more.

  6. Karen

“Intoxicating” is the word I’d use for this scent – the florals and currant mix with the darker, spicier notes to create a fantastically complex and heady fragrance. I keep smelling my wrists throughout the day and get different hints each time. This one is in my permanent rotation!

  7. hlinspjalda

On me this is a beautiful blend of amber, orchid, peach, and coconut. The other florals are very light, barely noticeable. I like it very much and would give it five stars were it not for the champaca, which is a touch too smoky on my chemistry.
