A city of mystery, wonder and majesty, said to have been built by order of Gilgamesh. Thick bitter almond and heady night-blooming jasmine with saffron, cinnamon leaf, red patchouli, river lilies, bergamot, fig leaf and the sacred incense of Inanna.
Gaily bedight,
A gallant knight,
In sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,
In search of Eldorado.
But he grew old
This knight so bold
And o’er his heart a shadow
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like Eldorado.
And, as his strength
Failed him at length,
He met a pilgrim shadow
“Shadow,” said he,
“Where can it be
This land of Eldorado?”
“Over the Mountains
Of the Moon,
Down the Valley of the Shadow,
Ride, boldly ride,”
The shade replied
“If you seek for Eldorado!”
Copal resin incense blowing through halls of dazzling gold.
At the center of the Garden of Eden stands the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Though modern interpretations of the Bible claim that it was an apple that the Serpent of the Tree offered to Eve, it is widely believed that the true Fruit of True Knowledge was, in fact, a fig.
This oil contains the innocence of the Garden, coupled with the Truth and Erudition found in the fruit of the Tree of Evil: fig leaf, fig fruit, honeyed almond milk, toasted coconut and sandalwood.
Reminiscent of hothouse blooms on a humid night, ripe, but touched with decay. Sweet honeysuckle and jasmine with a hint of lemon and spice.

I got this as a freebie in my order (which thank you so much by the way) but I never used it because straight out of the bottle it smelled strongly of cherries to me, and I don’t like cherries. But I just decided to try it on my skin and it smells completely different!!! Very spicy, but not too strong, and the more I wear it the more it smells like fall. But not the tacky version of fall you get from most fall scented candles – more subtle and not overbearingly sweet. Basically what a witches kitchen would smell like!!!

Smells very close to a Petit Four when you first put it on

Clove is one of my favorite scents, so of course I fell in love with this one instantly. Unfortunately, it fades to almost nothing very quickly on me. If it had better staying power, it would be a solid 5/5, but as it is, it’s a 4/5.

I got this as an imp size in one of my orders and I think I may buy a full size. The clove comes forward on my skin, and the other scents blend together so that it smells like quality licorice, but sexy.

Super sweet.

The smell I never knew to look for but completes Can’t seem to stop smelling myself. My first order from you but I am shouting about it from the rooftops and am infatuated. 3 days after receiving my ordered imps, am frantically returning to get a full size as soon as possible.

Oh almond… you are so delicious and yet sometimes you do whacko things on my skin. The almond does fade down and let the spiciness come through, but on me, it’s always there in the background, keeping me from getting the bay rum or the true spirit of the cloves.
Where I’d use this: Spicing up the house before a holiday party

This is reminiscent of Christmas day for me and it is one of my favorite Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfumes of all time. Truly amazing and everyone around me compliments it and tells me it reminds them of Christmas as well.

This was a free imp in my very first order and I adore it. There’s something gender-neutral about it that feels warm and tough and spicy. It’s what I reach for when I’m not feeling floral. I would highly recommend, especially if, like me, you can’t get enough of cloves.

This reminds me of autumn decorations. Straight away I get the almond oil and clove, but as it dries hints of the sassafrass start coming through. It reminds me of something…like some kind of a drink, maybe. Very soft and spicy. I like it!
