The Daemon Sultan, Seething Nuclear Chaos

…that last amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the centre of all infinity — the boundless daemon-sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin, monotonous whine of accursed flutes; to which detestable pounding and piping dance slowly, awkwardly, and absurdly the gigantic ultimate gods, the blind, voiceless, tenebrous, mindless Other Gods whose soul and messenger is the crawling chaos Nyarlathotep.

Azathoth is the blind, idiot god who sits on a black throne at the center of Chaos. His scent is high-pitched and screeching, both impenetrably dark and searingly bright with the clarity of madness: tangerine, saffron, vetiver, black amber and cedarwood.

Bought this for my partner and this is hands down one of my absolute favourites on him. Dark, rich, woody, warm, mostly bitter with a hint of sweetness. It’s a bit more peppery on my partner, and a bit more velvety on me – but overall very beautiful.

I got this as an imp a long time ago and ended up buying a bottle of it I loved it so much. Vetiver is one of my favourite smells and so this is perfect. I love it as it could be a masculine scent but I don’t feel like it makes me masculine when I wear it, I feel very powerful. I’d never have found it through searching so thank you for sending me that Imp! I have ordered a new bottle recently.

In the bottle, this scent truly is chaotic, to the point of inspiring me to laugh maniacally. The tangerine is right up front, with the absence any fruity sweetness.

As it dries, the tangerine lessens into equilibrium with the other notes. It really is a dichotomous blend, both blaringly bright and deep dark. There’s nothing unpleasant about this scent.

I love it and can’t wait to spread the madness, I mean, share with friends!

My personal and absolute favorite scent! The tangerine, cedar, and vetiver stand out on my skin and blend into a very sophisticated cologne. Highly recommended for men and anyone who loves woodsy scents.
