The Lampades are the darkly beautiful nymphs of the underworld, also called the Lethe Nymphae Avernales. They are the daughters of the Gods that govern the many rivers of Hades. The Lampades are Hecate’s torch-bearers and accompany the Goddess on her hunts, quests and revels. Their scent is the crisp, inviting bittersweet tang of cranberry with smoky dark lilies, heady, sensual musk, a tingle of ginger and a brush of Mediterranean spices.

This is a new favorite for sure. Before I opened it, I read the description and was initially disappointed because I though, ok, this one is fruity as heck and floral at the same time? It’s not going to appeal to me.
Oh how wrong I was. The musk and Mediterranean spice gives it a heavy incense smell which is my go-to for perfume notes. The cranberry gives it a sweetness that mixes perfectly with a really light dark Lilly but it’s smokey too.
I smell like new age shop that burns incense and has herbs and crystals on every wooden shelf. It is perfection.

Fruity incense the whole way. This one didn’t really shift at all for me from imp to end. Only lasted about 2-3 hours on my skin. Bright, crisp, smoky, then gone.

A scent I’ve purchased several times now. The cranberry is strong but held back nicely by the lily and spice notes. Sharp and brilliant alone or good blended with vanilla to calm it a bit.

Sniffing the imp it was hard to smell anything more than fruit but on the skin this scent just blossoms. The fruitiness softens although stays present and the exotic spices (perhaps some saffron?), musk, and just a touch of ginger and smoke emerge. What a wonderfully sexy, intriguing and playful scent. Definitely one for the ladies.

I love this one in the imp- it smells very fruity but with a tang (probably from the cranberry and ginger) and a bit of a smoke. Sadly once it dries on me the musky smell is all that’s left. Honestly, I just don’t think my body chemistry plays well with it.

I love, LOVE, this scent. My mother had gotten me a bottle of this years ago, and I have forgotten about it and recently found it in a drawer. (it was like Christmas all over again!) So after damn near bathing in it, I finally bought a new bottle. To me, the smell reminds me of old school Hot Topic, when they used to burn fruity incense in the stores. You won’t be disappointed. 🙂
