Grapefruit for something Scottish is a bonkers weird choice but it smells wonderful anyway, like an amazing breakfast cocktail at a fancy beach resort.

I love this scent so much! The grapefruit and ginger are a really powerful combo in the bottle, and I love how bright and fresh this smells. After a little wear the grapefruit top notes make way for a really beautiful and warm blend of the white tea and the ginger. This oil definitely faded quickly on me but it smells so good I don’t really even mind having to reapply more often.

The grapefruit-y, citrus notes in this are spot on. I was looking for a fruitier, lighter scent to try from BPAL, and this certainly did the trick. I would have given five stars, but it doesn’t last very long and requires frequent reapplication.

Love the grapefruit and ginger combined with the white tea. I just wish it would stick around. It vanishes after a couple of hours. But I still love it and use it when I need a pick-me-up.

It was the review above that likened the scent to Delirium that had me buy it, unsniffed. Delirium being one of my favorites and my husband’s absolute favorite. As soon as I opened the bottle I knew this might push Delirium from it’s throne. I want to smell like this all the time.. it’s a combination of fruit and flowers that makes the mouth water..
In the bottle.. mostly grapefruit and ginger..
Wet: grapefruit still, but the apple blossom mixes in perfectly.. like walking through an orchard in spring, the tea an almost behind the scenes note.
Dry.. and here is the reason why my absolute favorite scent only gets three stars: barely anything. It fades within an hour to the point that with my nose to the application spot I can barely smell anything except a very faint hint of the tea. On my skin.. it’s completely gone within less than an hour.

This is a lovely perfume. It’s a perfect blend of citrus and flowers. It reminds me a lot of Delirium, actually (rose and lemon). Because even though the scents are different (Delirium’s a little bolder, imo, while this one is a softer scent), they follow the same pattern. Upon first application, the citrus scent is the strongest, with the flower providing a background base coat that grounds the citrus and stops it from being too brassy. As time goes by the citrus fades a little…not going away but taking the background seat and letting the floral come forward. Now it’s the citrus providing the base and stopping the floral from getting too sweet. It’s a great combination. It helps that I really love the smell of apple blossoms.
I took one star away only because it doesn’t seem to be a very strong scent. Not much throw. But it’s so pretty, I don’t think I mind too much. Might require reapplication later in the day.

Absolutely bright and lovely!
Right away, that grapefruit just jumps out and lifts you right up. It doesn’t just smell one-note, though. The grapefruit goes away pretty quickly, leaving behind a soft apple blossom note that even a floral-hater like myself enjoyed.
Completely dry, The ginger and the tea give a subtle peppery fragrance.
My only wish is that the grapefruit lasted longer, but such is the fleeting nature of citrus… Looks like I’ll just need to buy the full size and reapply frequently 🙂

I love, love; love, love, LOVE this smell!! I received this as a frimp(free imp) with my last order, and OH MY GOODNESS does it smell divine. I bought this the same time that I bought the Snake Oil, and I have read that if you let a majority of the oils age a bit, they smell so much better.
I love the smell of this! Of course I love all of the scents that they have stuck in here which are: grapefruit, white tea, apple blossom and ginger.
Those scents in and of themselves smell yummy. All of them put together, though? The best!
Wet: On me the smell of the ginger and grapefruit are the strongest. Not punch you in the nose strong, but a nice over all smell.
Dry: The white tea starts to come around as a smell, with apple blossom coming out to play with the scent.
The mixture of the four of these scents as it dries are just…divine. It smells like a warm summer day.
I will definitely be getting a bigger bottle of this in the future!!!

In the imp: The grapefruit is the dominant note. It smells like an actual grapefruit (with the peel). I’m not really getting much else. Maybe a hint of the apple blossom?
Wet: The grapefruit takes the center stage. It maintains its position, and the apple blossom joins it after a while. The other notes don’t seem to want to make an appearance.
Dry: The white tea does emerge after a while. It’s a lovely citrus-y tea scent (with just a touch of ginger)!
Verdict: This is a lovely scent, and I think it would be great to wear during the warmer months.

I cannot get enough of this! Its a nice, cool scent that I’m going to be getting the larger bottle of.
The grapefruit is the strongest note while wet with the white tea keeping it nice and cool. As it dries this one blossoms out with a little flowery scent (the apple blossom I assume) and the ginger warms it up.
