Her hair was pale and colorless in the moon’s thin light. She wore a white cotton nightgown, with a high lace neck and a hem that swept the ground. Shadow sat up, entirely awake. “You are Zorya Polu . . . ,” he hesitated. “The sister who was asleep.”
“I am Zorya Polunochnaya, yes. And you are called Shadow, yes? That was what Zorya Vechernyaya told me, when I woke.”
“Yes. What were you looking at, out there?”
She looked at him, then she beckoned him to join her by the window. She turned her back while he pulled on his jeans. He walked over to her. It seemed a long walk, for such a small room.
He could not tell her age. Her skin was unlined, her eyes were dark, her lashes were long, her hair was to her waist and white. The moonlight drained colors into ghosts of themselves. She was taller than either of her sisters.
She pointed up into the night sky. “I was looking at that,” she said, pointing to the Big Dipper. “See?”
“Ursa Major,” he said. “The Great Bear.”
“That is one way of looking at it,” she said. “But it is not the way from where I come from. I am going to sit on the roof. Would you like to come with me?”
Pale amber and ambergris, gossamer vanilla, moonflower, and white tobacco petals.
“Most of the Gaelic poets, down to quite recent times, have had a Leanhaun Shee, for she gives inspiration to her slaves and is indeed the Gaelic muse — this malignant fairy. Her lovers, the Gaelic poets, died young. She grew restless and carried them away to other worlds, for death does not destroy her power.” – W.B. Yeats
The name translates to “fairy, love of my soul”. A vampiric spirit and a dark muse, the love of the Leanan Sidhe is both a gift and a curse. These eerily beautiful Irish spirits drain the sanity and lifeforce of the men they inspire to artistic greatness. Her kiss infuses a man with depth of vision and feeling, otherworldly passion, and a sudden and ineffable understanding of the unending sadness that plagues mankind. Her perfume is a crush of Irish herbs and flowers, Gaelic mists, and nighttime dew.
Selune, the Moon Goddess, fell in love with a beautiful shepherd named Endymion. She appealed to Zeus, asking him to cast Endymion into everlasting slumber so that she could be with him for all eternity. Her wish was granted, and every night the Goddess visited her love as he slept. A sweet, wistful blend of d’Anjou pear, Lily of the Valley, bois du rose and white musk.
The spirit of the full moon is capricious, intense and passionate, yet still distant, aloof and cold. Luna herself governs glamours, bewitchments and dream-work, innocent wonder, transient pleasure and delight, the Moment, impulse, mystery and veils. The Blue Moon is one of her rarest manifestations, and this scent is formulated to encapsulate her most complex and profound nature:
Mugwort and bay, for psychic sensitivity…
Juniper, for divination through dreams…
Lavender and almond oil for clarity and relaxation…
Orchid and purple sage for complexity, wisdom and noscere…
…with a potent lunar-charged blend of exquisite woods, moonflower, Madagascan ylang ylang, Florentine iris, starry bergamot, elemi, green tea absolute, palmarosa, cucumber, Clary sage, lettuce leaf, melilot trefoils, and wood aloes.

Imagine you’re wearing your favourite Lip Smacker and chowing down on JuicyFruit gum. That’s Titania!
So sweet and JUICY. It’s a lovely fragrance, very ripe and fruity. With time, I noticed more of the pear/ice muskiness and a subtle floral. An intoxicating, sweet scent that stops short of being headache inducing.
Lasts very well on my skin, too!

This is nice, on me it starts out very bright and young, I smell the grape and sweet pea the most strongly, my partner said it smelled like Starburst candies. As it dried down it became more floral and sweet. Almost powdery. It seems to be long-lasting. It might be a little soapy on me and maybe a bit too sweet for my personal tastes but I’m sure if you like sweet fruity florals this one would be perfect.

This is a very sweet scent that, for me, has the perfect balance of fruity & floral. In the IMO it’s definitely fruit forward but as it dries on my skin, the fruit backs off and blends well with the florals for a very sweet, creamy scent. This is very playful & flirty and would make a great fragrance for a first date!

This is such a yummy fruity floral scent, if I could swim in a big old vat of this stuff I would.

Sweet pea from Bath and Body Works. Fruity floral, bright, and happy. Pretty, but doesn’t stand out to me.
Where I’d wear it: The school dance.

This is my favorite scent out of the ones I’ve tried (5? 6?). I wear it every day. It’s very sweet and fruity without being too heavy. On me it lasts all day. I love the smell of the grapes and pear…I didn’t really smell peach though.

This one is pretty great. It’s very soft and fruity. I’m not sure if I’ll get a full 5ml bottle or not. But, it’s better than I thought it would be.

I am going to be buying this one again! It is sweet and cool, a rare treat from BPAL. I’m not sure if I like this better wet or dry since both are so nice. The pear, peach and grape keep this really light, while the snapdragon and sweet pea ground the sweetness in a light floral bed. The musk makes this bed a little more apparent when it dries. I was pleased to find the fruit sweetness lasting even when dry!

If you’re like me and you love fruity florals, this is your fragrance! The first thing I smelled when I first opened the bottle was pears, but it turns more floral as it dries. A really lovely, sweet fragrance. Will definitely be purchasing more as this has become my favorite BPAL scent right up there with The Witch Queen.
