Soon her eye fell on a little glass box that was lying under the table: she opened it, and found in it a very small cake, on which the words ‘EAT ME’ were beautifully marked in currants.
‘Well, I’ll eat it,’ said Alice, ‘and if it makes me grow larger, I can reach the key; and if it makes me grow smaller, I can creep under the door; so either way I’ll get into the garden, and I don’t care which happens!’
She ate a little bit, and said anxiously to herself, ‘Which way? Which way?’, holding her hand on the top of her head to feel which way it was growing, and she was quite surprised to find that she remained the same size: to be sure, this generally happens when one eats cake, but Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.
Three white cakes, vanilla, and red and black currants.
BPAL’s Eat Me is not for eating. Please use common sense, and remember: perfume oils are for external use only.

I received this as an Imp and I absolutely LOVED it! Very heavy for me, but in all the right ways. I’m a sucker for a good decadent scent, and this one hit the mark for me. Not too sweet on me and reminds me of home-baked goods, but matured and not as childlike as some other food-scents I’ve tried. Absolutely in love with every scent I’ve been sent 🙂

Of the fours scents that I ordered, Eat Me and Candy Butcher smell delicious in the bottle and on my daughter, but very heady and musky on me. Sad for me, but great for her!

Received long ago as an imp I just found & tried today. For me, it was a fairly standard vanilla cake scent, but I now quite enjoy it for the delight it brought me via my mother. She had gotten out of the car for a few minutes to pick something up & got back in & asked what was in the car that smelled “like food, like cupcakes? No, a cake. A little vanilla cake with pink frosting. Just little pink cakes. Do we have food in the car?” That’s so weirdly exact & specific & odd for my mum that it’s now a delightful favourite scent.
Little pink cakes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent. This was the first BPAL scent I ever purchased years ago, and I still love it now. On me it does smell like vanilla cake but it’s not a childish vanilla scent; it has some depth and staying power. It goes on VERY sweet but the smell mellows while still being distinctive; I have received compliments on the scent and it’s my go-to. 🙂

I received this as an imp, and it’s incredible. Whenever I wear it, it’s subtle but still noticeable enough that people who sit near me will ask who smells so nice. I plan on buying a full-sized bottle soon.

This is one of my favorite BPAL scents, and probably my favorite vanilla scent from any brand. And I’ve worn a lot of vanilla perfumes, so that’s saying something. When I first put it on it’s all buttery vanilla deliciousness, like rich vanilla cake or shortbread. Then as it dries the berry starts to come through and adds a real depth and…sexiness to the scent. It’s sweet without being cloying. It’s definitely a grown up foodie scent, as someone else said. It’s not overpowering, so it works well as an everyday scent, but it’s also intriguing enough to be a nice special occasion scent too. I love it, This is a scent that I can see myself wearing for the rest of my life.

Gorgeous! Delicius! Like angel food cake with fresh berries and cream.

I absolutely love Eat Me, it is in my top five GC scents. I normally wouldn’t care for a very cake scent, but after I tried Sprinklecake (which was for Lilith’s birthday several years ago), I wanted to see what other cake-y offerings the Lab had. I don’t think Eat Me and Sprinklecake are very similar, except that the vanilla cake note is prominent in both. Eat Me has some added depth with the berries, which balance the sweetness of the cake and vanilla enough that it doesn’t smell too candy-ish. So many foody, gourmand scents just pile on the vanilla and add maybe a bit of musk or tonka and call it a day, but Eat Me (and its sister, Drink Me as well) stands apart due to the tartness of the berries.

SO GOOD! Yes, it’s sweet cake and jammy currants, but it’s so DARK , sexy, and rich… I would swear that there is musk and patchouli in here, too.

I received the “Eat Me” perfum oil this Christmas. I own a total of four, full sized, Black Phoenix Alchemy lab oild, and this one is my favorite! The best way to describe this scent is, angel food cake mixed, with carmelized ssugar. When smelling this perfume oil, I could definitely distinguish the high quality scent mixture of “Eat Me” from, some of the less expensiv gourmand perfumes I’ve smelt. I’m very pleased with “Eat Me”, and am curious to see how it will age over time. I would recommend this perfume to, anybody who likes exceptionally sweet, gourmand scents.

Warning! This name of this oil is not merely a name as much as a suggestion. It’s heavenly and smells like warm angel food cake topped with black currant jam. I wore it around my sweetheart and he asked me what it was, when I told him he agreed it was very appropriate. Bigger bottle, a must.

I really enjoy Eat Me. It smells like a white cake studded with glistening, syrupy-sweet black currants and a tart, sexy edge. I like that the currant has an almost red musk-like scent to it on my skin, making this smell like a really sexy cake.

I really love this scent. On me it smells like warm vanilla cake. The only problem is it fades completely after about 2 hours. I am not sure if it’s just me? It smells so delicious that I reapply but because it fades so fast I most likely won’t buy a big bottle.

(Imp) Wet: Definitely cake and berries. Really sugary and almost marshmallow-y
Dry: This is almost overpowering at first, like opening an oven right as a cake is finishing baking. Really warm and food-y. Vanilla cupcakes and frosting, with more sugar crystals on top. The berry is almost an afterthought on my skin
Overall, it doesn’t work for me whatsoever, hence four stars. It smells lovely though, and the description is spot-on, and on another person it’d be splendid.

I’ll start off by saying I’m not a huge foody fragrance fan. Eat Me is not foody on my skin at all. It turns into pure delicious vanilla and a tiny hint of heady incense. I don’t detect much fruit or cake. So, non-foody lovers should really give this one a shot. It is absolutely a must try for any vanilla fan. I was recently told that I smelled amazing by a stranger and I was wearing Eat Me that day. This is some REALLY good stuff!

This one is my special occasion scent, my first real BPAL love. I would definitely call this foodie – and foodie works very well on my skin.
It is absolute berry pie on me! The vanilla contributes to the pie/pastry scent, and then dries down a little to reveal the grown-up berry smell. The berry is almost wine-y, but still sweet and gorgeous. I wouldn’t say it is any particular berry, but a red/purple sense springs to mind. I wouldn’t call this too sweet or sickly, but it does smell like it has been reduced to an oozy syrup.

On my skin, Eat Me smells like someone made a pie filling filled with apricots or nectarines, but hadn’t cooked it yet.
It’s not bad but I don’t like it enough to wear or order a full bottle.
The scent reminds me of “Bread and Butterfly” and “Halfling.”

If I had to describe this scent as concisely as possible, I’d just say “fruity cake.” Neither the vanilla cake notes nor the currant notes are overpowering of one another, and they really do blend together well enough that it smells like berry cake rather than just cake with berries. It is sweet and strong, but not in a juvenile bubblegum way; it is more like a mature, sweet, foodie scent that isn’t overpoweringly sugary. There’s much more depth to Eat Me. I love Eat Me and its counterpart, Drink Me, because they both have a sexy, grown-up foodie quality that isn’t all that common in perfumery IMHO.

Eat Me is a warm, slightly sweet vanilla – like cake just out of the oven (in a good way – I’m not normally into “food” scents but this is nice without screaming CAKE!). The juicy currant notes dry down a lot; I get only the barest hint of fruit after a few minutes on my skin. Really lovely scent!
