This series is based on the Gris Grimly’s illustrations for Poe’s short stories as featured in Gris’ new book, Tales of Death and Dementia!
To Commemorate the 200th anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe, Gris Grimly fully illustrated four of Poe’s short stories, the Tell-Tale Heart, the System of Dr Tarr and Professor Fether, the Oblong Box, and the Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar. We are thrilled beyond belief to have the opportunity to translate a few of Gris’ illustrations into merrily macabre complimentary scents!
The scents will also be available on the Mad Creator web site soon!

Because of the nature of this project, imps are not available for any Gris Grimly scents.

It is amazing how so many of these scents take me right back to moments lost in time.. this vanilla, when first put on, is super sweet and yep, ice creamy goodness..but then- after a bit, it morphs on my skin into a specific cocoa butter my mom used all the time in the 80’s when I was a little kid…that scent, and the memory of it, is very comforting ! (And I LOVE Vanilla.) I’m interested to see how this one matures over time. Thank you for all of the amazing scents🖤🎃☮
