This is a truly phenomenal blend. I bought a scent locket and it’s such a special experience. The smell is difficult to describe, I’m Agender and feel that this is a gorgeous gender-neutral confirming scent. It has feminine qualities but morphs wonderfully. There’s a hint of jasmine but the other elements distract from it (fortunately for myself, I frankly can’t stand florals like heavy jasmine or gardenia as they can be cloying and cheap). The vanilla, musk, and bergamot are the main driving forces for me, and it’s a scent that does travel when you warm up but otherwise stays close. Very beautiful, serious, and sexy/playful all at once. I’m buying a back up bottle. My collection has swiftly grown and this is definitely one of my fav blends from BPAL, along with Incubus and Blood Garden 🙂 I highly recommend. Longevity wise it can last severa hours on wrists, I love how it wears through a locket or conduit. 5/5, 10/10. It’s just that good.

On me this is mostly cool and delicate vanilla musk. It’s sexy but restrained, like a well tailored white business suit. I can make out a thin thread of wormwood in the background. It smells like sugared absinthe, This reminds me of Torture Queen actually. Not nearly as floral, and softer, but they still have a cool, white metallic feel to them. It’s very nice.

Warrior witch indeed! who else could ever encapsulate a concept like this in a perfume oil?

I own hundreds of bottles of Black Phoenix scents and Lady Death Savage smells like nothing else I have. It is light yet deep, complex and luscious all at the same time. The white musk, bergamot and labdanum are the first things to situate in my olfactory senses and then the vanilla comes into play with just a hit of caraway. The sytrax and bois de jasmin are there once everything settles in. I feel like the wormwood is really the key element that ties everything together and gives it that “savage” edge. This is a haunting, powerful, sensuous concoction and I would suggest that if this review appeals to you at all, just get a bottle right now.
