The overwhelming agony of passion crystallized into a singularly dark and magnetic blend: bittersweet neroli, black patchouli and black musk, gilded by apple, bergamot, blood red rose, teak, and vanilla.

I liked this, but it smells almost EXACTLY like Sed Non Satiata. After a while of wear, the apple and bergamot pop out. I like Sed Non Satiata much better.

This smells like a warm, luxurious, bubble bath. In the imp, it’s a juicy sweet apple scent. On my skin, the spicy patchouli notes come out and make the scent very warm and a little acidic. I can see where this could be over applied very easily, but it’s certainly intriguing.

I received this as a frimp with my 2nd order and it’s gorgeous, another 1 to add to my ever growing list of must buy full size bottles. The neroli, patchouli, musk and vanilla all blend together to give a grown up spicy sexy scent while the apple, bergamot and rose give it a touch of sweetness and elegance. A true match made in heaven

OK, this smells delicious! I looked it up to see the ingredients list. To me, it smells very sweet, like a bakery, at first -not in a bad way — but then the patchouli starts to combine with the vanilla, so it’s subtly spicy. Then the apples / bergamot and rose seem to lighten it up somehow, or maybe that’s the teak — it’s also in Antikythera Mechanism. I think the rose is what makes it smell other than completely foodie. It’s intriguing. Ordered a bunch of imps and this is my favorite so far. Not nearly as powerful as Snake Oil.

Sweet, dark and sexy. The sweetness is stronger at first than it is later, when the scent’s darkness starts to take over. It stays close to the skin.

Very strong when wet, with an almost Pez-like fragrance — that sweet and tart candy scent. It’s quickly mellowing into something softer, and the rose is coming out more, but it’s a mature, sexy rose, not soapy or frumpy. The musk is there in the background, grounding the oil. As for the other notes, I can’t really identify them individually, but they all come together into a suave, confident, musky rose fragrance that’s sexy without trying. Seems to have good staying power, too.

This scent smells kind of tart and sharp in the bottle, but when applied to the skin and warmed up by your body temperature it turns into something sweet and slightly powdery. I can smell the vanilla and the patchouli – a nice and soft patchouli, not a slutty hippie patchouli, then you have a undertone of apples and rose. Very seductive and have a nice throw, kind of concentrated. I only opened it up to smell it, and a drop fell onto my arm. Ended up noticing it more than Bliss that I was originally wearing, so you have to be careful with this one. Still, I like how this scent follows you around like a soft, velvety blanket, embracing you rather than suffocating you. So it being strong was not a bad thing in my book.

rose and patchouli and amazing, powdery black musk. there’s a bit of tart apple when i first apply it, that quickly fades. then the vanilla pops up in its place, adding sweetness. ten minutes later the patchouli’s faded and i’m left with sweet musky vanilla rose…very alluring and sexy but in a soft, understated kind of way.
