Two, Five & Seven Perfume Oil

$6.25$25.00

‘Would you tell me,’ said Alice, a little timidly, ‘why you are painting those roses?’

Five and Seven said nothing, but looked at Two. Two began in a low voice, ‘Why the fact is, you see, Miss, this here ought to have been a red rose-tree, and we put a white one in by mistake; and if the Queen was to find it out, we should all have our heads cut off, you know. So you see, Miss, we’re doing our best, afore she comes, to–’

A huge bouquet of squished rose petals: Bulgarian rose, Somalian rose, Turkish rose, Damascus rose, red and white rose, tea rose, wine rose, shrub roses, rose, rose, rose…

…and just an itty bitty bit of green grass.

This is probably my favorite GC rose. It’s a sweet, light rose, despite the multitude of different roses the blend boasts. It’s a summer sort of rose with a fresh, minty sort of greenness to it. It’s not perfumey or fussy like some “rose” products, and it seems ageless and timeless. I could see dabbing this on a rosy cheeked child or wearing it at 50 with a sun hat while you walk in the garden. In my brain, 2, 5, & 7 belongs in the same family as Hope, but is less sugary and more green. Well worth checking out for anyone looking for a good rose perfume.

This is my favorite perfume that I have bought in a while. Smelling it is like walking through a rose garden; it’s a very fresh and green scent while still feeling classic. It is very strong, so that can either be a positive or negative factor for some.

I bought the full bottle twice now. It’s a strong, floral smell, and will definitely give you a headache if you’re sensitive to that. I, personally, LOVE it. It reminds me of visiting my grandmother in her old, Victorian house. It makes me think of crushed velvet, powdered faces, crumpets, and lots of blush. A strong rose bouquet, not for the faint of heart.

It’s a rich, pungent rose smell that reminds me of old Victorian perfume. One of my favorite BPAL scents is Rose Red and it smells nothing like this. My Rose Red has a fresh green scent like a dewy red rose and leaves with so much fresh, airiness that you’ll swear it was just picked. This smells a little more like dried rose petals with an unmistakable headiness to it. If you get headaches from certain scents, avoid this one.

    Well, it’s certainly rose.

I do find myself sniffing it again and again on my hand, but it’s just a little too much for me. I need my rose blended with something else.

BPAL has many wonderful rose scents, usually mixed with other complimentary scents, but this is my favorite. Not only is it pure rose, it is many different kinds of roses and the oil will morph through all of the different qualities of these roses as you wear it. There are light, creamy roses, deep sensual roses, sharp summer notes that are almost fruit notes, musky roses in a garden at night…you get the idea. This isn’t one flat scent; it goes many places but all within the boundary of the scents of different roses. It has a good throw but isn’t so strong that it takes over the room and it lasts a good six to eight hours. One of the best deals on rose scent that you are going to find.

I love this wonderful roseapalooza. I am very happy that it isn’t powdery or cloying. Very happy with this one, will be buying the full bottle.
